Clearwater Beach is a barrier island — two and a half miles of Gulf frontage reached by the Memorial Causeway, with Island Estates up the causeway and Sand Key across the bridge to the south. Since the Beach Walk rebuild it has been dense with high‑end condos.
Beachfront units share a set of problems the mainland doesn’t: salt film on window glass, sand in sliding‑door tracks, balcony railings, and screens that need attention far more often than anyone expects.
It is also one of the busiest short‑term rental markets on this coast, so a good share of the work here is turnovers between guests rather than recurring household visits.
